14 acres of farm in Sanbornton, NH. Owned by Greg Sanderson, but managed and run in conjunction with his daughter Cedar and his four grandchildren. Three generations, one farm. They have lived here on the land for over 20 years, and during that time it has ben farmed and then let fallow. For the last 8 years not much had been done, but in 2011 the Sanderson family decided they would rejuvenate the gardens, get more livestock, and generally become farmers again. So far this year they have gotten chickens, in addition to the rabbits they already had, and plan to have piglets soon.Got three pigs today!  The greenhouse that is the center of the garden has seen much work, and the gardens will be worked on once the snow is off the ground. The sugarbush, the stand of maples in the woods, has been tapped and syrup has been boiled. All in all, a good start to the year, and much more to come.

Glady and Cedar, I can't believe she's almost as tall as I am!

Blog posts are mostly written by Cedar Sanderson, Greg’s daughter.
